Margaret Brown signed up to Real Futures' Women’s Business 2nd Chance Hub as she was keen to attend the 'How to start your own business' course. After completing this course, Margaret was mentored by the course coordinator and got the motivation to kick start her business back up, which is called S&M Creative Spirits.

The initials represent her late Mother and Father’s first names. Margaret started off by sewing masks through the first wave of COVID to help keep our Mob safe. This led to more ideas and she is now creating a variety of items such as bags, purses, towels, blankets and coffee sleeves. One of her most popular items is Boomerang Jerky!

Real Futures has since provided Margaret with the opportunity to be a part of a global documentary for UN Women which will highlight her business and promote her products around the world.
